Objectives: ‘Supercharge your art’ 5 whole days of adding glowing light to your paintings. Lots of one-on-one time, live, in-class demos and I am with you every step of the way to help with every aspect of your painting process from colour, paint mediums, good brush and palette knife techniques. Every day filled with heaps of great tips and tricks not found in books.
(All student levels welcome)
Day 1..
Let’s get started by looking at how to really energise your art with glowing light. Paint and learn the processes along with best colour choices and strategies.
Day 2..
Once you have the glowing light fundamentals sorted, then you jump right into your very own ‘glowing light fantastic painting’ where you will apply what you are learning into your very own painting.
Day 3, 4, 5..
Let’s create some glowing light to your paintings using Don’s process and tools you have learnt. Begin your second ‘fantastic glowing light painting’ and you have 3 whole days to complete it. Consolidating what you have learnt

- What makes a great painting & how to achieve?
- How to prepare and get started.?
- Essential techniques explained & applied
- How to interpret photo reference - what to use, what to leave out & why.?
- Apply your new creative process for visually exciting paintings
