Old Woman Island - Radiant Light

Mudjimba Island or Old Woman Island as the local indigenous people call it is steeped in spiritual myth and legend and it is easy to see why when I visited it in the early hours at dawn. Radiant and vibrant coloured energy surrounds the Island and it almost seemed to glow from within as a dazzling array of colours in the sky danced about it or at least this is how I saw it that morning. I chose a more contemporary Colour Palette to express how I was feeling and was affected by the magic event and spectacle before me. Location is at Mudjimba Beach in Queensland on Australia's East Coast.
