Bunya Waterfall

Inspiration came from time spent at the Bunya Mountains National Park where I walked through the many pathways there during my Plein Air painting excursion. I was totally gob smacked when I stumbled upon this incredible waterfall scene. Not huge in size but it more than made up for lack in size with stunning colours and moody atmosphere. I was so taken by this waterfall because of the wet and damp rocks which seemed to mirror so many strong hues of blue and violet which immediately captivated my imagination and I could not wait to get into my studio to capture in paint as soon as I got home.
