Local fires have given the sky a burnt orange hue which shines golden and sets the scene with all the colours of my photograph. I love to visit and photograph the Noosa River (in Queensland on Australia's East Coast) at Gympie Terrace in the late afternoon as the light is always different and offers heaps of opportunity and as with this image, simply magnificent. The BoatHouse is a fabulous side curtain to my photograph as light still streams through its windows and gives structure and contrast to the already spectacular scene before it.
