This Arnhem Land aboriginal elder is a wise soul and life hardened who now looks out through glassy eyes tinged with some sadness, but behind those eyes is much wisdom gained through a life of hard and tough living in a very hard and unforgiving land.. Age has withered his body slightly but not his stature, presence, power or spirit which all still remain strong and able.
Arnhem Land is a vast wilderness area in the northeast corner of Australia’s Northern Territory. It's home to the traditional indigenous landowners, the Yolngu people.
